Patch chips in concrete?

I have several small chips and pits in my slab surface. Some are just defects, some are from dropping tools, etc. Was thinking something like epoxy spread with a putty knife would work. Does JB Weld stick to concrete well? Something else? These are small spots, would prefer something that can be dispensed as needed. This is a rough work surface in my barn, not a show room. Thanks.

Don't use JB Weld, that is not meant for flooring.. Use a 100% solids surfacing epoxy.

As Benwah stated a good 100% solids epoxy will fill it. For larger there is a repair kit that includes sand and epoxy. In many cases, if you are coating the entire floor and you prime and coat with 100% solids, you can take care of the issue.

One old trick that works well for small voids is Bondo!
Don't start rebuilding your floor with it but a few defects here in there and you are all set.
Epoxy readily bonds to it once sanded.

I fixed some spots in our shop at work 15yrs ago,
still holding reasonably well, except where I feathered out the edge to nothing is flaking a bit.
I believe I used rockite.

Thanks. This is a work area, I have no interest in coating the floor, it would never hold up. I would like to fill in chips now and then as they occur. That's why I was thinking something like epoxy that can be mixed up as needed.

I used Rustoleum epoxyshield path/repair on what sounds like exactly the same flaws in my concrete. I did Epoxy soon after so i can't tell you how well it would do on its own but so far it's going strong. I will say that should should definitely clean out the "pits" very well with a brush and compressed air, otherwise it won't adhere well to your concrete.

We carry a Crack Repair a Epoxy Putty that is stronger than concrete and you only mix what you need, it's a 50/50 mix like epoxy spackle. Works great and eat to use.
