Hello all, first time posting here. I wanted to see if I needed to be concerned about and issue with my brand new barn floor. I had the 26x40 barn slab laid Saturday 4/2 and the 26x20 apron laid Tuesday 4/5. The overhead door side of the floor has a slight taper as I had to install a trench drain for drainage. On Tuesday before laying the apron the contractor drilled some holes in the barn slab to run some rebar through to connect it to the apron. In the process of drilling a chunk of the tapered concrete came up from the drilling. Since they were laying the apron they took some of the new concrete and just trowled it into the void left from the chunk coming out of the slab. After closer inspection today it looks like the the "patch" is a little higher than the surrounding concrete. I'm hoping this makes sense as I am definitely no concrete expert. Is there anything I should do? Will this be a problem moving forward? Was this the correct way of patching 3 day old concrete?
I've attached 1 photo below but figure out how to post a second.
Thanks in advance for any advise.
