Good Afternoon,

I've been struggling to find some reliable advice over the last few days, and so I am turning to you guys for help. It's not technically related to my garage but I suspect many of you out there will be very knowledgeable regarding my issue. Apologies in advance to anyone who feels this post is misplaced.

My swinging wooden patio doors are rotted. The need to be replaced. The frame has not suffered any damage and is still good and square (the diagonal measurements are off by less than a quarter of an inch over 100 inches). I would like to simply replace the doors.

I looked around online and called around to Lowes and Home Depot but I can not seem to find anywhere to purchase just the replacement doors.

What would you guys do?

Thanks,
C.

Check your local independent lumber yards, there are several around me that have unhung doors available. Realize hanging the doors is a tedious process.

For the time invested I would just replace the entire door unit.

^ What he said. The cost of just replacement doors will probably be more then double the cost of a new complete unit as well...

Be careful, you are likely to find rot once you take the doors off. I've done several sliders where I thought it'd be easy and both turned into a subfloor replacement projects with a gaping hole in the side of the house.
