I try and refrain from posting my "home improvement" projects on this forum. But this is off my garage and it's sorta garage related so i though i'd share.
In chronological order. All i did for research was watch a couple youtube videos and browse these forums.
This was a month or so ago.
Couple weeks ago.
Almost finished.
This was taken today, nevermind the unstained portion of fence. A tree fell on it and i'm letting it weather for a while.
I think there's around 1000 bricks.
I'm glad i didn't job this out, but my god is it ever some back breaking work.
I dug a drain pipe for the downspout and it pops up in the grass. Probably a regrettable decision in a few years.
Concrete has 6-8" sand base 4" of concrete.
Bricks have 6" of aggregate and a half inch of sand. Then the cracks were filled with a silicon hardening sand stuff.
Now to start planning for a deck and door wall.
