Patio stone?

Hey there folks! I have been lurking and checking out all of the garages for a while. Some amazing stuff! Now that my wife and I are in a place to by our first home I need some advice.

The home we are looking at does not have a garage as it is a victorian home. Because it has a shared drive, the garage will be at the rear of the house. We planned on keeping the gravel drive for water run off purposes but need to know what options we have for flooring? There is currently some patio stones (large squares) at the house as a parking pad. Could I reuse these as a garage floor? If so what would I need to prep for laying and finishing them for oil cleanups....seeing as I drive vintage vw'S! Thanks.

You can do most anything. I've used Appius pavers around the major perimeter of my garage and the front porch. They look great, are very durable and allow good draining of standing water. I'm going to install two runs of turfstone off the back of the driveway to park the car trailer on. Interlock Paver Systems, Inc is my source. Their selection, quality and prices are better than the big box stores offer.

So as long as the prep is good, large patio stones could provide the floor for my garage gazebo? I'm sure there is more risk of sinking and moving? What would the prep consist of?
