I have a new house that is nearing completion. I want to epoxy the floor before all my 'stuff' gets moved into it. I was thinking about something a bit more interesting than traditional single color (with broadcast) epoxy coatings.
Has anyone painted designs into their flooring? I am thinking about a large diamond shape (of a contrasting color) in the middle of each garage bay to break up the monotony of the standard flooring with broadcast flakes. As this is epoxy and not racedeck, I don't have the patience (skill) to do intricate designs like checkerboards and such....
An alternative to this is the metalic epoxy, just not sure of the cost difference versus traditional epoxy and amount of labor to install.
Thoughts on either?
