Question on colored pavers. Our red Mutual Materials pavers have the pigment throughout the paver. What is the best way to bring back the color when cleaning? I am wondering if bleach used in cleaning will bleach out the pigment as well

second vote for the lowe's stuff. I'd stay away from pressure washing as you will need to do it all to make it uniform and that will then include adding the material between the pavers.

Over the years the sand has washed out so I need to put in new locking sand. Here in the Seattle area pavers get black with mildew so some sort of bleach is needed. I just spent three days de mossing all the cracks and got buckets of moss.

Here in the desert, mildew is not a problem, but the UV rays of the incinerating sun are. I power wash and seal annually. The sealing compound does not flake; it just kind of fades. Our pavers do not have sand grout. I apply the sealer with a hand-pump garden sprayer, using the same technique you would use to paint a car: an even distance and a slight overlap. It goes on very quickly.

I need to remove the moss between my pavers too, not looking forward to that job. :(
