Hi Everyone,

First time poster, long time lurker. Today I went to a few local pawn shops and this is what I found:

Ford Adjustable Wrench

Quali-Kraft Slide-a-Wrench

What do you think, is this a good start to antique tool collecting? Thanks!

I picked up one of those Ford wrenches at a garage sale, think I paid a couple bucks for it. It came in pretty handy for awhile.

You might call that Ford wrench an antique but I would love to have another one. I had an Imperial I used all the time til someone needed it more than I did. Great find

I bought those two plus a small Vlchek wrench for $5. I also bought a used set of Husky nut drivers, a couple of Snap On sockets for less than $10. I bought three Craftsman wrenches with a metal insert in the jaws (?), type unknow for $5 the other day. I love my pawn shops!

I see that Ford type of wrench all the time in yard sales. If they ARE Ford script, they mostly follow me home. (Unless the owner gets silly with the price)

Welcome to GJ, antique tools are nice to handle and think of the mech/carp/elec that fed his family using them.

Sure I will part with it as I have no use for it, I just bought it because it said Ford on it. I do buy lots of used tools to use because I'm a weekend DIYer and they fit my needs perfectly.
