Here are some tools I picked up a few minutes ago at a local pawnshop. $53 worth.

Can't find package deals like that around here. Cheapest places I know of here charge $1 a tool, including sockets, and the good USA wrenches like you found wouldn't be in the dollar bin. You'd mostly find the ChiCom **** in them.

Yup, you ****.

Just overload the counter with random tools and they usually pull some random number out of their head. $53 for a bunch of mismatched tools to them is a win, little do they know the OP cherry picked the good name brand stuff.

you did fantastic great score:thumbup::thumbup:

Woody tip: Around my area the local thrift stores like the Salvation Army do not have any tool selections (either the workers get them or they just don't have many tools); but on the other hand they carry a fantastic selection of measuring instruments (Pyrex measuring cups & measuring spoons) if you ever find yourself borrowing your household ones for a garage project and your wife is ready to kill you then pick up a few the next time you walk into a thrift store. They come in handy for mixing fliuds like oil, atf, paint and any thing else you can think of.

maybe overloading it, but I cherry picked 4 tools from the bins at a local pawnshop here and the guy behind the counter handed them to a guy in a booth overlooking the entire store. the guy in the booth pulled out a magnifying glass and scoped them out before quoting a outrageous price for some dirty pawnshop tools, I walked out...

btw OP, good score!!

Now most of the sockets are Craftsman, few are Matco, SO, Proto. The wrenchs are Proto, Craftsman, Bluepoint, S-K, Fuller. Thats mainly what I was after, but alittle fanagalin, I walked out with a smile.
