Anybody know anything about this guy? My lathe knowledge is subpar.
We got offered a few of these. Not sure what to make of them.

That's pretty cool. Looks like some sort of 2nd operation lathe, setup for a specific manufacturing step... looks like a small boring bar on the tailstock end. If they're cheap enough, I'm sure you could find plenty of guys who'd like to have one as a display piece.

You are correct! Just did some digging and found some paperwork associated with it.
Apparently these are from 1945.
They were used on PT boats "for boring packing spare feed nuts".
Whatever that means.
