You really need to quit offering these helpful hints as you're increasing my competition for some Ebay items.:bounce:
Seriously though, I guess it's a good idea to check the seller's other items for sale when you come across an item you're interested in. He may have more than one of what you want listed, or in this case a decent buy it now price.

IIRC the buy it now disappears after the first bid is placed. So it can be easy to think something is a good deal, but not necessarily the best deal!

There's an item on Ebay-Uk. It's a couple of miles from me, so I can pick it up so no shipping, and no-one's bid on it at £1.99 yet. About £25 value.
With just a few hours to go.
I'll, hopefully, get it at the opening bid. I'll feel very guilty, but what can I do? :)

Hope you score, but at least on this side of the water most bids take place in the last minute, many in the last 4 seconds.
I don't even bid before the last minute anymore, as I hadn't won in months unless I snipe.
