I'm sure count-on will have their typical black friday sale. I did come across this site which had some great pricing on a few items, and good pricing on non sale items. If you order enough shipping wouldn't be too bad. With the value of our US dollar, I wish the prices for PB would lower!

Absolutely concur. I wonder if the US sellers bought all their stock when the dollar was in the toilet. I'd love to find someone in Europe (or elsewhere) that would ship to the US so we could take advantage of the pricing in Euro.

I don't know who the sellers are now. Google search may tell you a few, but there was pbtools in the USA and the Tool Lady. Looks like she has some black friday pricing:

A few years back, I got spoiled by that sell off on Amazon.com when they bought the stock of Small Parts (sp?) a distributor of all sorts of goodies. Cleaned up: chisels, punches, drivers, hammers, and other assorted goodness. That said, I'd go PB Swiss for drivers over anyone else if I was in the market and willing to pay for it. I have to say I prefer it to SnapOn.

That ad is from last year.

I like to try different brands of tools, whether they are made here in the US or abroad. I already have my trusty Craftsman Made in USA Screwdriver set, as well as power bits which I occasionally use with my cordless drill. I purchased PB Swiss Tool's magnetizer / demagnetizer, but is there anything else that might attract my attention to try their other products out?

Try some better screwdrivers. Start with just a Phillips #2 and see if you can or cannot tell the (enormous) difference.

What's the average price for a set? Is it reasonable to purchase these drivers individually? I'm being budget-minded this time around especially with all the Black Friday deals :D

I have a set of these in straight, phillips and Torx. They're the ****.

I have the PH2 in my wish list on Amazon, been thinking about buying it...only $10 with free Prime shipping. They seem to want about $70 for the 6-piece set on Amazon.

I asked ToolLady if they were also having a sale and they replied with the following:

"All orders are discounted as follows: 25% on Friday, 20% on Saturday and 15% on Sunday! All orders that are over $250 retail will receive free shipping. You can order online or send an email if you have any non-website items needed.

Any backordered items will receive the same discount and be delivered ASAP."

Anyone know what shipping rates are from http://www.pbtools.us/?

Thanks for posting this.... actually I dont think my wallet thanks you. But too good of a deal to pass up. Almost as cheap as buying them in Switzerland back when the exchange rates where ideal.

Funny, I just came here to post that their shipping rates are high and put a damper on the deal. I just want 1 insider 3 ratcheting screwdriver, the short one, and they want $10.40 to ship via USPS. $19.40 via UPS.

Maybe it's better if you want more stuff, but pricey for one $63 item.

Ditto i just want to try some 1/4 bits and they still want around $16 for shipping. Wonder if you could call them and get to throw them in an envelope.

I put in an order consisting of 30 items. Shipping was about 10% of the order, but no tax. Got a free t-shirt for going over $150. Best deal going on PB Swiss. Looking forward to getting this order.

It's hard to buy PB Swiss at the current prices after the big Amazon blow-out from several years back.

Anyone else notice that the order page didn't ask for the verification\security number off the credit card? I hope the order goes through alright, I don't see anything pending on my credit card yet.

I know. But at that the same time if you are, for instance, willing to pay for SnapOn or some of the German brands (Which are less than SO in my experience), then that sort of lessens the psychological barrier of paying for PB Swiss. Plus, their drivers and hammers and punches are just so damn nice.

So, are PB Swiss rainbow hex keys really worth almost three times as much as Bondhus' equivalent (colorguard - which are ugly) or four and a half times their regular black oxides?

No, they're maybe 2x better, but if you want them, there's no choice but to pay the premium.

A note: There are Priority mail options if you scroll down. A little cheaper.

Man....even with the 30% nut drivers are hard to pull the trigger on.

Swissgrip phillips set 0-3 is a great price though. I got 5 #2 bits....going to put these in my Mac and SO drivers.

BOCO!

What makes their hammers and punches so nice?
