I've got both!
The Festool are o.k, in fact quite good compared to some out there, but they're not in the same league as the PB Swiss!
Bear in mind that the Festool bits, despite apparently being regular 1/4 hex, have actually got the corners turned off so that they fit their own chucks. A regular bit won't fit directly, you have to use a festool 'bit holder' and go from there!
I have a festool CXS drill / driver (superb tool that I use a lot) and I use Festool bits with it for most of my woodworking projects! If you're not really into screwdriver bits or drill bits you're always safe buying the Festool, they'll be reasonably good for the intended purpose, which is mostly woodwork, but you really have to use the Festool bits to get the most from the system!
I use PB Swiss bits with hand tools, and the power bits with most of my air tools! PB really are the best of the best! I keep reading shite about 'Yamasaki brand taking more torque before breakage, according to Yamasaki User magazine' or suchlike, and it's all cobblers! If you don't over torque your bits the PB will last longer than anything else out there!
I spent some years in the defence industry doing a lot of repetitive assembly work. When you have to hand assemble a hundred widgets, each with a dozen screws that need torquing up, you soon find what works the best! One job needed two 4mm cap screws, but they had to be driven at an angle so I had to use a ball hex bit! I was breaking Wera bits after about 30 screws so bought a box of PB Swiss. I still have them, all of them, I never broke one!
