This post Story is for GJ member Capt. Curt, because he asked the question who made these PDI screwdrivers, and he got no replies to in the vintage tool section.

Now I can say in all honesty I have narrowed the field down to 16 entities, (see the link) but I cannot find which one made them, so the mystery will continue. How I found the following information was with some very good luck I might say!

First off, I got lucky, and I found an ad on Ebay, and they were selling a handful of them in various states of rust, but low and behold on the package it showed a CAGE # of 5120-00-224-7375 we are in luck as they say.

16 entities made Phillips screwdrivers, but which one made those screwdrivers under contract is still a mystery? I wish the package had an address that would have helped me figure the mystery out somewhat.

Before I forget, the CAGE # stands for Cross headed screwdriver/aka Phillips screwdriver... I wish I could ask the Ebay seller if he could make out an address on the package, but I do not use Ebay.

Also, I pickd up a second small screwdriver that looks EXACTLY like my little PDI screwdriver but is hot stamped "IVY" Tools? Another mystery screwdriver manufacture??
