So up in my loft I have 2 sections one for storage and one for the boys (and my) slot car track . Thinking about putting down some peel and stick carpet on the "fun" side it'll go over T&G OSB . If I clean it well I should have no problems with sticking should I ? I like the idea of peel and stick , being boys the potential for damage is high (pop, candy etc.). Just replace a damaged square and move on.

Anyone have experiance with this stuff ? Where to buy ? thanks!!!!!

The self stick probably will have problems sticking to OSB because of the irregular surface.

I'd be looking at a more commercial carpet tile and then use a seperate adhesive that is removable multiple times. Makes replacing an old dirty tile a pretty easy job while keeping the tile stuck when you want it stuck.

Carpet layers installed that stuff in the area I work.

It's only redeeming quality is you don't have to mop, wax, buff the floor. Vacuum is about all you can do with it. After a couple weeks of steady use the seams started showing in some places.

As far as giving any type of cushion effect if you have to stand or walk on it for hours on end there is none, even having to kneel on it is painful.

We used a similar product in the boys room for awhile.
It was more of a tacky back product in 2' squares. The seams didn't show, but if one side was not properly blocked in, it would start to move. Once dirt gets underneath....all stickyness goes away.

I'm planning on putting down a cheap plan-jane vinyl floor in my attic. Our kids are also going to have an area...for that we are just going to use a big rug. Something that is easy to lift up and go shake out. it will most likely be one with something like the map of the US on it.
