Peerless 295 Bench Vise; who made it?

3 inch machinist vise, Fulton. Were they a manufacturer? I dont recognize the name. I feel like I should know by the handle boss but I don't. Rock Island?

Fulton made tools back in the day. Hand planes and other things. Would not surprise me if they made vises too.

Ok, further research Fulton hand planes were a Sears brand, manufactured by various third parties.
No (apparent) relationship to Fulton company of Lowville, Ny. Looks like bunch of Fulton vises on ebay.
