I am installing 2 4'x8' peg boards on a wall in my new to me pole barn, 76x27.
Have a lot of hooks left over from my last house that had one 3'x5' peg board behind my work bench height tool box.

Anyhow, Lowes wants over a $1 for each ~ 4" plus sized 2 hole engaging peg.
That is going to add up quick. Anyone have a place that they get these things.

I found a old "wanted" thread were member Bull asked about this same thing. There were only a few responces. One was a site called http://wallpegstore.com/
Anyone use them and like their products?

Plan to hang all the small stuff that is cluttering the barn. I have already installed 6 cabinets for the large bulky stuff. The pegbord will be used for muffler clamps, hose clamps, trailer axle straps, files, and various other stuff that can be hung on a hook.

Thanks, Alan

The plastic hooks from wallpegestore are awesome. If you are tired of metal hooks always falling out, the plastic stuff will make you love pegboard again.

I got 15 lbs of them from ebay for $15 about 18 mos ago. Check CL and ebay for them, you'll see them pop up cheap occasionally.

X2 on the Talon hooks. Their real advantage is they do not pull out. Great for basic hand tools like wrenches and pliers and things that are not too heavy. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes. You can order them online through lots of places like Rockler, Lee Valley and McFeeley. Manufacturer's website link is below. Also, a plus for me, they are made in the USA. Cheers.
