Nice. Maybe you can figure a way to gofundme or something to bring this to market. I'm thinking a magnet in between every hole so users have an option. This is a time when I need to invent some magnetic field glasses. Maybe I should start a gofundme on the glasses...

The drawback to using magnets is that magnetised tools collect every bit of swarf, filings etc. which they touch. Can make cleaning tools before putting them back into a cow of a job.

True, but besides the magnets holding the tools, I havn't had any issues of these small magnets magnetizing any of the tools. My guess.....not enough magnetic flux in these small ones to cause a reaction like that by just placing the tool on it........now if you were sliding the tool up and down on magnet perhaps, but still the attraction would be quite weak and wouldn't last.
Yeah, saw those. I really wanted the flush look and those were just too bulky for my taste.

Very clever idea! Thanks for sharing. I like my pegboard, but don't like when the hook comes off the pegboard with the tool.
I hate that too, I put one magnet behind the hook to stop that from happening.

Hotmelt glue the hooks in the pegboard.

Looks very clean. I like peg board, but it wouldn't work for me either - too much metal work.
