I am looking to paint my garage and i have a cool framed pegboard. my idea (may sound studid)
people take huge photos/posters coat them with a clear paint/glue to make a puzzle-
i want to put a couple posters/art over my framed pegboard cover them the same way for duribility then puch in all the holes. Would that look good in your opinion? can not say i have seen it and can kind of picture it in my head

I think it would look cool if painted. Like your favorite car logo or something similar. The poster might turn out looking bad after you punch all the holes

Depending on the picture, that might look pretty cool. If you overlay a poster, you don't even have to punch all the holes, just the ones you are using. As you add stuff to the wall just poke the peg through the poster (or use an Exacto). When you get tired of it, get a new poster.

Consider your idea "stolen", sir.

Yeah me too! I wanted to install a sheet of pegboard on the wall but didn't want to get rid of my rally posters.

will try to update this post with a picture of the result.

in my gun room i used pegboard to display my firearms on the wall. i stretched some camo burlap over the pegboard and used rubber coated hooks to hold the weapons. looked quite a bit nicer than plain old pegboard.

Wonder what having a picture repo'd as one of those vinyl "wrap" graphics would cost. Probably a lot more durable then paper. Though probably pretty pricey as well.

I painted my pegboard to look like a rock/trail and the jeep is crawling over. This only took a few minutes and I have never done much like this at all. It's about 5' wide and covers an area between 2 wall cabinets.

I can't seem to get caught up on all the ideas I've already gotten from this board and now another! GJ may just be the end of me.
