I am replacing my pegboard in my shop after some water damage and I would like the pegboard to slide or roll back out of the way. Anyone have any idea?:headscrat

Build a simple frame out of 2x4s?

Can you mount it on hinges and have it fold up against the ceiling?

I really prefer to have the pegboard on some kind of roller system. Otherwise it would cover the window to my shop.

Bypass door hardware. Track at the top, and, depending on the sytem, maybe the bottom.

a lot of people I know who have lisding pegboard just use a route to carve tracking in a board above and below the pegboard.

kind of like a lot of office credenzas or old stereo's had. put a larger hole through it, and use that to pull along the track. I suppose you can't overload it or it will not move well.

could also look at hardware for sliding closet doors.
