I have a double wall chimney for my pellet stove, and after the first years heating season, I opened the end of the chimney and it was perfectly clean. Did the same thing the following year, and the same results. After that, I never looked at it again. Do you clean your pellet stove chimney? If so, what do you use, and how dirty does it get. Do pellets have any creosote in them?? thanks Junk...

I use a 3" round chimney brush on a sectioned rod to clean mine. Burning wood pellets does create creosote. All chimneys should be cleaned regularly.
