I have an old Dremel 395 tool I use most to the time. Also have a Ridgid 12v Jobmax cordless 1/8-inch bit unit that works great also. Also have the Dremel flex shaft that I can use for finer work but it is a bit cumbersome for some applications.

I would like to have a small cordless unit I can hold like a pencil for finer work. Any suggestions.

I use 3 systems.
Foredom tool which is my favorite.
Dremel for general purpose use, like trimming the dog's nails.
TurboCarver for fine stuff. Works like dental drill. It's more the carbide bit and speed than anything. I don't use it very often.
