Pendant lighting rough-in?

Not for the garage, I admit, but I am preparing to install some pendant lights.

They will be 3 separate units - not one of the metal bars that hangs multiple pendants.

Is rough-in just a standard round box for these? (I am not doing the retrofits)

BTW... should clarify "for these" meaning your typical pendant light... I haven't been able to find the ones I want, so I don't have any yet. :) Hence the rough-in without more info now.

Kinda of a vague question. Rough-in as required for an inspection? You would use in most cases a round ceiling box for installing individual pendent lights.
