I know there are sites that will show how to repair the ratchet but I was wondering if there was anyone on this site that would repair mine since I don't seem to have the correct tools to do so.I am willing to send it to anyone that is willing to help.thanks

Do you have a kit for it? Those are very easy to repair. I would love to do it for you but feel the shipping each way greatly outweighs the cost of the ratchet.

I have had this set since the late 60's and the only problem I have is that I tried to repair it myself:I wish I knew how to add a picture.I have been searching for some time for the same type but the ones I have seen on other sites look worse than mine.I can check to see what a repair kit would cost.

If its a round head ratchet then it was probably made by New Britain . They made rats for a bunch of retailers / brands including Husky, Blackhawk, and Napa .
You should definitely be able to find a kit.

The NB round head rats utilized this gear head often. Is this the type you're asking about, OP?
