The Bosch batteries if eligible for 35% off with rebate will be sweet deal, I was very happy months ago to get 30% off one.

I can't figure out how they are still in business. Unless it is the repair side making all the money. last few times I was in there, no one was working the parts counter and when someone did show up, it was an "I can order it for you" situation. Told the guy I can order it too and not have to drive 10 miles round trip to pick it up.

I don't buy much from PB, but have gotten excellent prices on a few items with discounts.
Bosch battery for about $30 less than anyone else
Mercedes alternator for about $100 less than anyone else with lifetime warranty (I had to wait a day or 2 for the alt but worth it to me)

Carl Icahn bought them last year...they've got plenty of money behind them now.

I am 100% with those Duracell jump starter prices. I might get the 900 or 1100-amp one

I saw that too. So online 30% off and then maybe a $30 rebate too ... I'm going to call tomorrow (as for some reason I can't get the installation option to work on their site).

I couldn't work out if the $30 is now, or only on Black Friday?

I go for a smog check. Close enough that I can drop the car and walk home.

Other than that, maybe a couple of cans of some aerosol chemical.

I go to Pep Boys every Black Friday to stock up on antifreeze. Usually a buck or two a gallon after sale price and rebate. Then just keep a few gallons on the shelf.

Haven't paid more than about 2 bucks for an antifreeze change in any car for the last 5 years because of the Pep Boys Black Friday antifreeze sales.

I pick up my oil changes during their BF sale each year for less than $15 each (w/ premium filter and after rebate.

Other than that there is not much else worth talking about.

not to be a party pooper.
a warning.... what ever you do, don't go for their tire sales.... it's a scam to trap you for the road hazard insurance and the replacement is a scam.

I had a friend get a wheel alignment from PepBoys, and the tires burned up in about 5,000 miles, worn all funny. And this was on a relatively new car, with perfect front end parts, and no accidents.

All we could figure is the alignment job was done by people that don't know what they are doing.

Otherwise, Pep Boys sales are good for fluids and consumables, but don't know if I'd have them work on my car.

Went there one time to pick up a transmission cooler on sale once, and when I drove by the bays and saw the way one of the guys was beating the front end to death installing a CV axle, I said to myself that my cars would never be in those bays. He basically bashed on every part in the front end to death, EXCEPT the axle. Maybe the guy needed glasses or something.

I didn’t see a $15 oil change.
