Any further information on who made these - some comments on this forum suggest Japanese origin :
I bought this ratchet and wobble extension recently and thought it was a dud with broken teeth but a bit of oil got it working smoothly again - the drive swivels under the head and it is a nice compact little ratchet for small spaces.
This is Perfect-Lock (Made in Japan) - sold by Sykes-Pickavant until abt. 20/25 years ago when they started selling their own cheaper quality "own brand stuff".
I have found P-L very good , I have quite a bit of socketry in regular use , I use it on rusted dismantling with a breaker bar. Should have purchased more P-L when it was available as it was realistic priced.
Yes , the Perfect-Lock , I am certain they are "Badge Engineered" manuf. by Koken , the ratchets have a similar feel.
