Perforated Tile Experience

In Michigan, with all the snow and slush, the garage floor gets pretty filthy rather quickly and gets tracked into the house. I want to put in modular tiles, but don't expect a tile floor to be any cleaner, therefore a perforated, or ventilated, tile might be the solution. I am looking at many brands: Daytona, Bigfoot, Racedeck, etc. Here are a few questions I have:

1. should I do the entire floor with these, or just under the car (or perhaps everywhere BUT under the car...)
2. how often can I expect the open tiles to require removal and cleaning beneath?
3. are they as strong and durable for occasional hydraulic jack and jackstand use? (I usually put something under the stand so that may be a non-issue.)

Thanks

I hear what you’re saying about tracking in dirt and water, but if you get the perforated tiles, all the dirt and water is just going to lay dormant under the tiles. I think you've thought about this based on your question #2.

Personally I'd think it would be easier to squeegee and clean a flat solid surface as opposed to HAVING to remove all the tiles to clean. Even if you do remove the tiles and clean you’d still have to go through the same process as if you had the solid ones.

Oh nice bird, here are some pics of one I just got done working on ;-)
