Pergo flooring repair?

So last Spring, I had some pergo flooring installed in the entrance way.

Yesterday, while I was bringing in wood for the fireplace, I accidentally dropped one of the pieces of wood, and it basically dented the floor.

Is there any way to repair this? I don’t think I can use wood filler since it’s not really wood- but I’m open to suggestions. I’d rather not replace the strips of flooring- but my initial thought is- that’s the correct way.IMG_3791.jpeg

I’m in the dog house with my wife, so…
TIA

Short of replacing it I might try a heat gun / hair dryer / iron to see if you can get the dent to come out. It looks like the vinyl is cracked. They may sell a color matched repair kit. You could probably try a vinyl dashboard repair kit or something like JB Weld Leather Weld. Or even a CA glue (probably gel would work best) to secure the crack. I'd just put a little on and wipe or scrape excess. First thing would be to see if some heat will flatten the dent out though.

ETA maybe something like this would work

Short of replacing the strips there is no perfect fix. Try your hand at one of the vinyl repair kits or the burn in sticks and you can probably get it to be less noticeable. Or get a rug.

Years ago we had a kitchen flood and it ruined a bunch of Pergo. Insurance job, so we hired a guy. He cut out the damaged boards, edged them with a special Pergo groove router bit, and popped new boards in with glue.
