I just finished installing my perimeter insulation. I wasn't crazy about cutting a 45 degree angle on the top of it. I bought some foam board at Lowe's and it had the overlap ends. I put the raised edge against my outer walls. I now have about a 1 inch to deal with. A common trim piece of vinyl will work pretty well.
It's just another option .
