I've been organizing my shops this year and had this put away in a safe place. I got this box what seems like a long time ago. I never knew Perl but very much would have liked to. A milk man, truck driver and WWII era ship yard welder, I'm sure a good tale about each. The family thought enough to include his story in the toolbox, something I think should happen more often. One of my very favorite things.

Cool story there in Perls obituary stormking. Very nice that his family shared that with you. A good box made a great box by the personal story of the previous owner and Perls was a good one. I can see why you value it so. Ed.

Nice. It is a marked McAleer box likely made during WW2. I imagine the green is under the yellow repaint.
