Permatex Windshield Repair Kit

Today I tried Permatex's Windshield Repair Kit on a small bulls eye on my windshield. The directions were very straight forward, it took about 50 mins start to finish. It looks as good as some of the professional bulls eye repairs it have paid for in the past. The kit cost about $12.00. So, we will see how it goes, winter in Michigan will tell. On Permatex's website they have a nice how-to video for this product which made the process simple.

Anyone else have any experience with this product or like products?

I've used that kit, it works well.
I've repaired 2 windshields with 1 kit.

Does it repair a small crack from a rock? I read the description and it didn't say crack it said bulls eyes, chips, and stars shaped chips. After putting it on will it make the crack transparent or will it still be visible?

It would repair a crack 1" long or less. You'd still see the crack, but it'd be LESS likely to spread.

I agree. You would still see the crack, but at least it should not spread.

It'll make it less noticable, but more importantly it'll stop the crack from spreading.

I've used these kits a number of times and they have always worked :knock on wood:.

hello there.. i just wanted to ask where you were able to acquire this? it is quite funny that i find myself in a similar situation and i turn to this forum to ask for help. thanks for any help that you may be able to offer.
