I’ll give them a chance to fix it. Can’t see demoing 30 yards of concrete!
I think the concern here is whether this is just some superficial issues, or structural.

Those pics you put up look very rough to me, tho admittedly I'm not concrete expert... but I think if you discovered there's lumber embedded in the concrete just from a control joint cut? That's a bad sign.

What I would hate to see is starting to put together a building on top of 30 yards of substandard concrete.

If the concrete contractor has screwed up it's not on you to accept that as-is, it's on them to demo and repour correctly and they know it, or at least compensate you -- Don't let them dismiss or cover up serious issues until it's too late to resolve them.
