I have seen those two apparatus.

The first one is really neat as its not bulky as the others, but reviews say it's quite loose so not worth it. Is there a non-plastic version with tight tolerance?

I have the 3rd one and rarely use it but it does work. For drilling round stock, I think the middle one is a good design but I don't have one. It's going on my shopping list.

(btw, I just downloaded a bunch of your songs on i-tunes. Long time fan.)

The second style actually works very well for both drilling and tapping.

They also have tbe 2nd style for use with Helicoil taps. It has come in very handy.
