Petrie Pole Turning Lathe

Anyone need to turn a few poles? Here is a lathe to do just that, ad says it will handle 25 FT. for just $800.

The problem with those giant lathes is hardly anyone has space for them - they often get sold for scrap.

I doubt it is 25' between centers.

Looks like it comes with the motor.

We have several of similar sized lathes at the house where I live, in suburbia. Not enough room in the six car garage shop so they sit outside rusting. Someday I'll tell the story, what I know of it, about my crazy housemate. The King of old junk. He does buy them for junk prices tho.

Agreed it looks at most 15 ft maybe less.
