Detached garage for cars and brass processing/reloading

Wife and I are in beginning stages of a detached garage project. Trying to figure out size/needs/cost/etc. Dont have a ton of space, but we will be going 2nd floor for full “man cave/gun room”.

If you live in the Hampton Roads and have a great contractor, please send info. Approx 16-24 x 20-30, with 2nd floor.

Bringing this back a little bit. 8.5 months of deployment, back in VA at the end of the month. Hope I can convince the wife to break ground on the detached, but it sounds like a Kitchen reno, and flooring upgrade may be on the horizon.

Thank you for your service!

I recently got a 540i on trade, have always wanted an M// but could never justify it.
I have many Pews but haven't got into reloading yet. There is a gun thread on here somewhere.

I'm getting close to finishing up a kitchen reno, (and I just helped a neighbor replace his flooring)... good luck!

Once I get home, plan on sharing all my garages over the last 18 years of military service. Cars, toys, trucks, trailers, and guns. Been hawking GJ for a long time, but never really started a full thread, as never had a garage "of my own".

Little about me.. "Pew Pew" and "Sonic" are my nicknames on the ship, and PewPew is from all my shooting stuff, and even have the license plate. Sonic just came about recently from my love of military/chief challenge coins. Gotta collect them all.

Joined the Navy 2004 on Mothers Day. Originally from IL, and boot camp was local in Great Lakes. Went to San Diego for A school, and got rated as a Sonar Tech.

First billet was USS Paul Hamilton DDG-60 out of Pearl Harbor, HI. Single, 22, and loving life! Hawaii was amazing, and started my obsession with cars, and going fast.

Ill try to get out the external hard drive today, while I still in Spain, and hotspot my phone, and upload some pictures!

Start here... 2005 Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Picked up my 99 BMW M3 with some minor Dinan parts already on it. E-4, living in the barracks, loving life, delivering pizzas on base.

I picked up E5 shortly after, and was able to get housing allowance to live out in town, and rented a place up the hill in Pearl City. This was the beginning of my love affair with E30/E36 BMWs, garages, mechanic work and all things "guy"
