in my experience good pex ain't cheap & cheap pex ain't good .. generally it's harder to work with, easier to kink, not compatible with some fittings etc .. i have seen people completely abandon radiant projects when faced with breaking up the entire slab to change the tubing

I have found a lot of lower cost oxygen pex sold by places like pex universe/ pex direct .seams to have same rating and astm standers as others . Just wondering if it made by the same company and just "relabled " and sold by differ distributers at differrnt prices but its the same stuff ?

it's up to you man, i certainly wouldn't put cheap pex in a slab, or somewhere it wouldn't be easy to change out .. i'd be worried about it leaking past fittings and how well it's gonna stand up to the hot/cold cycles and if it's gonna age without turning brittle and a million other things

the 'lowest' quality stuff i use in my builds is the orange watts pipe, i can leave the job and sleep at night
