Pex manifold or a simple "t" fitting?

So my floor heat just has two loops and I was thinking that instead of buying a manifold and capping off the unused connections that I could just use pex T fittings instead? My main concern is cavitation...

You could do it that way but it doesn't give you the ability to adjust the flow.
Manifolds also typically will have bleeders and such on them.
If you do decide not to use a manifold I would be sure to leave room to put one in later.

It's just that with two loops on a system with about 7 gallons total of fluid, some of this seems a bit overkill.

I think Ill just make a copper pipe with some "T' fittings with a pex connection, so it will be a tiny manifold I guess.

You can always put a ball valve on the return side so you can adjust the flow. I have done that on a few small systems and they seem to work fine.

are your loops the same length? if not i would go with the pex manifold with flow meters to adjust the flow.
