hello I was thinking of useing pex tube to run water to my garage that i am building, I need to know what size to use 1/2 or 3/4. I will be running it from my house about 160 feet to the garage. Another thing should i run the pex pipe up under the forms where the concrete will be, or use pvc or copper where the concrete will be. Thanks

For size, 3/4" definitely, possibly bigger, you'll have too much pressure drop with 1/2" over 160'.

I'd run the Pex right up thru the slab but I'd sleeve it in some larger PVC for protection

You are going to drill your basement wall, correct? Not sure if it matters in that case but I probably would. If you have a water issue(ground water) I'd think it'd be easier to seal the sleeve and then seal the pex in the sleeve.
