I've seen some recommend having a splice kit or two on hand when pouring the concrete over your pex. I've been looking at splice kits and I only see two choices purchasing a crimp tool and the fittings to go with it or the shark bite type coupling. I'm a little weary of the shark bite type fitting under the concrete. Is there any other option for splices to keep on hand. I'm not against getting the crimping tool as I'll eventually use it when running the water in the shop, I just wanted to know if there was anything else out there that people are using that is suitable for under concrete installation.
