I chose to skip the uncoiler and just deal with the roll of tubing. While in some applications unrolling it across the yard, or unrolling it off a uncoiler may have been useful, I'm not sure that it would done any good in my situation.
If you are laying out your tubing in the standard back and forth pattern across the floor it would probably help. In my case I did the spiral method, spirally to the center of the space on 2' spacing, turning around in the center and going back to the beginning between the first tubes. Going back and forth doesn't require the tubing to be twisted, spiralling does.
