I finally bit the bullet and decided to upgrade my Tormach mill to a VMC. I've got a VF2 on order, and one of the biggest challenges was having the necessary power in my home shop. I did a lot of research and ended up going with a Phase Perfect PT-380.. The unit arrived and weighs 206 pounds according to the manifest. Called PP and they want it wall mounted with at least 6 inches of clearance on the bottom for the fans. I wasn't real keen on hanging 200 pounds on the walls of a pole barn, so I broke out some tubing and the mig and built a frame for it. I also added neoprene vibration isolation feet to the bottom after I took the picture. It's solid just standing up, but I went ahead and lag bolted it to the wall just to make sure it never tips..

Shot the standard gray paint on it and bolted it up.
