Phenolic vs Poly core rollers

I’m attempting to do my installation of Hellfire tomorrow and my rollers never arrived from Amazon. I ordered phenolic roller covers (18” width) but since they didn’t come I tried to find some alternative and came up with only poly-core rollers.

The instructions call for phenolic I’m doing about 600 feet per roller cover.

I can’t figure out the difference between the two types...

Wooster Super Doo-Z is the roller you want. I'm not sure where you're located, but Home Depot sells them, maybe a Benjamin Moore store, or a local paint shop

Any good poly core roller will work. Poly/phenolic are interchangeable. Benwah’s recommendation is a good one.

Wooster makes an outstanding roller. Midwest rake also has good generic versions of the same.
