Phillips #1 (LONG!!)

Hello, I am needing a Long size #1 phillips screwdriver. 16" in length to be exact. Would prefer a USA brand, or really anything that's not made in China.

Ready mades are just a quick search.
No need for brand pointers as you said anything but Chinese.
And you haven't said 16 inch shaft length or 16 overall length. BIG difference. You said exactly 16 inches.

I'm not able to check for sure, I'm not at the shop, but I believe my snap on cabinet length screwdrivers are longer than that, even.

SK only has #2 long phillips (16", 20"). The longest #1 phillips is 4".

Snap-on has Soft Handle 16" #1 phillips SGDP116BR.

I have a #2 so that has a blade length of 16 in. Had a #1 but must have lost it at some point. I suppose mac or so may have one.

Proto makes one just a little longer but I wouldn't recommend them.
I reckon Snap-on makes the longest but their website is down.

So if a long #1 Philips is what you're after I don't know of any longer than this one. It has a 10" shank and about 13.5" overall length. A 16" shank length in a #2 Philips is far more common.

These hard handles should still be available on SO's site in several colors however it is down for upgrades at the moment.

It doesn't appear they make the 10" #1 with the Instinct handle but the part # for the 16" #2 is SGDP162.

I checked the part # member biomed posted above. He nailed it......they do make a #1 with a 16" shank length. Here is a screenshot of the catalog page......

Mathew makes a very long but holder. It will set you back about $20. USA company but made in Taiwan.
