Is there a thread I'm missing or a website that shows what Phillips screwdriver license is for which company. Like I know #1 is for Stanley and I think #7 is Bridgeport.
And when did they stop putting that on the shafts of the screwdrivers?

I have a Bridgeport P2 that shows Pat. Lic. 2.
The list has been built empirically, Tim. Meaning, from examples, not from definitive documentation. Please post a few pics. Don just mentioned one of the possibilities for the apparent variance from the list. We have seen some examples of multiple licenses or licenses that seemingly disagree with the list in third party production. Another is shanks being put inside different handles by POs.

I'll try to get some pictures up this afternoon. Damned round shafts and ferrules don't make it easy.

There is another pat. # on the shaft, too. I'll record that. Right now, it's lunch time.

The word below MADE IN U.S.A. is CARBON.

Basically the same as the one above, and only differs from that above there by LIC 2 vs LIC 7.

I'm betting the shafts were all made by the same manufacturer.

That was undoubtedly made by Irwin or Apex for the Auto Vehicle Parts Company, which used "AU-VE-CO" and also "Au-Ve-Co" as logos. Kind of a cool, uncommon find. I wish I could remember who owns this board so I can credit him. Not mine. It belongs to @harley jim.
