I've never posted anything to a forum before. So I have no idea how to put pictures on here. Anyway, I'm remodeling my two car garage. It is your standard suburban garage. It drives me nuts. I need things to be clean and organized. So first thing I did was get EVERYTHING out of there. My upstairs Man Cave is now a temporary storage room. Next thing I did was prime and paint the ceiling. I painted it ceiling white with an eggshell sheen. Next step was to address the ridiculously poor lighting. You know, the single 100 watt bulb the builder had put in. The lighting I put in is absolutely incredible. 5 separate 50 watt halogen bulbs on a bendable rail and each bulb can be pointed in any direction desired at any given time. I don't know how to attach websites, so I'll just tell you the lighting is called RACELIGHT. I bought it from diamondlifegear.com. I give it 5 stars!!!! Next step was repairing the walls. Then I primed the walls. Another issue that needed resolving was finding the best parking assist device so that my wife and I could get our cars as close as possible to the ideal spot we want them when we pull in the garage. The reason for this is because we have what I consider to be a SMALL two car garage. It's 18x19. So we need our cars evenly spaced and also pulled in just the right distance. I did not want to use the hanging tennis ball method. What I went with is called Park Right. It's a dual laser system. So I installed that today on the ceiling. We tested it out, and we love it!!! Another 5 star product. That's it for now. Next step is painting the walls. Going with Valspar Classic Red. Till next time, God Bless.
