Phoenix Reverse Bleeders

Hi Everyone

Does anyone here have the Phoenix Reverse Brake Bleeder Pro kit?

Looks interesting, wondering how well the performance of using this tool / method compares to the old school bottle / hose / pump the pedal method?

I had a bear of a time bleeding a hydraulic clutch so I ordered one. While watiing for it to show up I got impatient and made a weed sprayer bleeder (copying the general idea of the Motive bleeder). I reverse bled the clutch that way with success. When the Phoenix bleeder arrived I did try it out to see if I could get a firmer pedal, and visually saw some tiny bubbles come out. One plus of the Phoenix over my homemade bleeder is it comes with some extras fittings that help keep it from being so messy.

If I had to start all over again I wouldn't have ordered the Phoenix since my homemade bleeder worked so well, but since I have it I do appreciate the flexibility it gives me for future jobs.

My brother uses something similar to bleed the brakes on fighter planes he works on.

Spendy little ****** tho, especially as you can buy a Motive Power for what, $50?

I have one of those but I've never tried to reverse bleed with it. 'll have to check that out.

MINI Cooper clutch slave cylinders are notoriously difficult to bleed, I wonder if reverse bleeding it would do the trick?

I use my vacula or mightvac

I tried the mightyvac; thing seemed to pump for days, be super slow, and still not get the job done. ??

I had a mightyvac and I couldn't get it to bleed brakes I was working on. My neighbors came over and had it done in just a few minutes. He got it to work just fine. I guess I just wasn't using it right.

I couldn't get my Mightyvac to work either.... Biggest $50 that went no where.

Any ideas on the performance diff between the old school method and the Phoenix tool?
