Photo upload problem not seen before

Yesterday I tried to upload photos on the flooring forum but they would not load. An error message said something about a missing security token, whatever that means. The three photos I tried to load were the exact ones I had previously loaded on the gallery forum with no problem so size is likely not the issue. I then tried only one photo but that wouldn't load either.

Today, I tried to upload only a single photo on the general garage section, the flooring section and the gallery without success on any of them. The error simply said the upload had failed. That same photo had also been uploaded on my build thread on the gallery section several weeks ago.

Nobody else appears to have commented on this kind of problem so it is probably something wrong on my end. I must be doing something wrong.

Anyone have any suggestions to help me resolve this?

Sorry for the hassle... That's actually a very annoying bug. Essentially, it means the images you were trying to upload were too large in file size. So, here are a couple of things you can try:

1. Try making your images smaller in file size. Often your digital camera will come with software that will do this for you.

2. If you were uploading more than one image at a time when you got the error, try uploading just one at a time. Often times, this works just fine.

Last night it was doing the same thing to me, saying the same thing, I just loaded the same picture that last night would not load and loaded it fine.

Hurray!

Although it is a bit odd the algorithm resizes to a filesize rather than a specific image size, this will put some hurt on the OCD screw clocking kids.

Thanks to those who replied with some suggestions. I tried to upload photos for two days with no luck. This morning, I uploaded the same photos on the flooring forum and they posted just fine. Again, these were the same pics I had loaded before on the gallery.

Did not do anything different.........Strange. Hopefully, the problem will stay resolved.
