So my current MAC dealer is stuck (some guy backed out) with a black & flat blat 11 drawer macsimizer 2bay with SS top and a power drawer. He wants 9k for it. He'll give me 4k for a matco 4s that I paid 1k for. Put the rest of truck credit at a one time 9% interest fee. $50 a week.

Sounds like a great deal in all. But its not what I wanted to do. I was hoping my first real new toolbox purchase would be my last. I was hoping to get 3 bay 18 drawer macsimizer. But feels like this deal is to good to pass up might not see anything like this in the future. Especially carrying the account on the truck at a relatively low interest rate.

I also don't actually need any more space at this point in time. I still have a little bit of space between the box and master service cart for few more hand tools. I don't forsee any big tool purchases in the future minus a battery tester. I would like it for the the height of the box easier to work out of, writing surface, and the ss top as a good work surface.

I pay less than that weekly on my Epiq...if this isn't what you want pass, it's not a good deal by any means. It is quite average.

Agreed, pass if it isnt what you want.

However, a guy I used to work with had a Macsimizer box and I really liked it. He left the tech position after 10 years and went to a salesmen type position (Hard to explain what it actually is) so he sold off a bunch of tools. If I didnt have a perfectly fine $5000 box I definitely would have bought his off of him.

Thats not a deal, my Mac guy put a new 1901A (triple bank 18 drawer) on a truck account with NO interest. Plus a stainless steel top and cover for $7500.00 I didnt do a trade in. I give him $100 a week.
