The box with tools for $425. The Remington ramset pictured was missing, but he threw in a craftsman butterfly impact insted. Has the key and while used in a body shop, it is straight and all drawers work properly.
P.S. Almost all the tools were import or junk....oh well. Figure I will have $325 or so into it when I sell off the contents.

Nice box.

I think that that is not too bad of a price. A lot of storage there.

:lol_hitti I thought about covering the drawers of my box with woodgrain. :lol_hitti

That box looks like it's in really nice condition. I would call that a good buy.

I was bigger than expected. Over 50" long and pretty massive. Here is a full sized recliner on top of it for scale. It needed the loungers spot. Cosmetocs are pretty rough but I feel it was a good value in a toolbox.

I didn't know you were in the Atlanta area. Hell, I would've bought some of the stuff you had in the past if it wasn't for shipping. :wtf:

There should be a Taco Wagon club on here! I always liked that box, very different.

Drawers on tyhe front and one side, cabinet doors on the back and the side with the handle has nothing but a handle.

Got it.

I would pick one up, they are usually not too expensive around here, but can't think what I would do with it. Got to keep the center floor clear, so I would have to push the doors against the wall or something.

Cool boxes though.

are you going to take the wood off and re paint it?

I will likely do that unless I sell it.
The paint under the wood decals is perfect, but the corners of the drawers have some minor rust around the edges from 20 year old chips that were never touched up. The design is not ideal for me either but even without the back cabinet, it has about the same square inches of storage as my other main box. My guess is I will hold onto it unless I get get enough $$ for an even trade on or to buy a front facing design box of similar quality. And if I dont, then paint it next time I am doing some kind of bodywork and paint project, but that may be a few years. Only bought it because I felt it was a good deal. The box would clean up alot but I just don't care to have it nice. Either well used looking or showpiece nice.

This thing is much better made than my old snp-on chest.

The Taco Wagon has doors in the back? Does it have doors or drawers on all four sides?

it has drawers on 2 sides and then a storage compartment on the third side.
the 4th side has the handle on it

the design of this box was based on the fact that SO was using standard drawers to make the box. this box was introduced before they were making the narrower drawers for the 2nd bank.
if you take your box to the work, this is actually a good design. if your box stays up against the wall it would ****

I really like my SO Taco Wagon. Its my main tool box that I use at work. I'm able to use it as my portable workstation, I'm working on rigging up a tow bar so I can tug it around the ramp.
