Picked up a Baldor 612R Bench Grinder (FREE)

Baldor new factory eye shields and brackets will be here Tuesday. Ordered 4 - 1/2" carriage bolts for the tool rests. They will also be here Tuesday. Only piece I'm still unable to locate is one more tool rest for the wire wheel side.

Got bit again by these freaking eye shields! $100.00 for pair of shield assemblies. This is what FedEx dropped off this afternoon. Yes that’s 1 shield, carriage bolt, washer and lock nut. Bob is NOT impressed!
This is going back and I won’t be using eye shields. I already wear safety glasses, so I’m throwing the towel in on these things.

I have a Kersaw pocket knife I carry daily for years. Dull as heck. Went online to order a new one. Just before placing the order my head said, "HEY *******" you have a spiffy new grinder sitting on your workbench. DUH... Went out there and sharped the knife. Saved $150.00
First time using it and I love it!
